Richard A. Cooper, B.A., LL.B.

Richard was called to the bar in 1976. Prior to law school, he graduated from York University, where he majored in political science. He received his LL.B from Osgoode Hall and completed his articles at Faskens in Toronto. He moved to Kitchener in 1977 and has been proudly serving the Waterloo Region ever since.

Richard’s practice focuses on real estate, wills & estates, and corporate law. In addition to his practice, Richard published a weekly real estate law column in the Waterloo Region Record and has won the Kitchener-Waterloo “Readers Select Award” for lawyers several times. He has also taught courses at Conestoga College and given seminars at the Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Board.

Richard is a bit of a workout fanatic and when he is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
